"Cruiz'n" featured approximately 30 original acrylic and watercolor pieces, giclee prints and posters of automotive subject matter. On display through mid-September, 2006 these pieces ranged from fine art paintings to "lowbrow" and hot rod artworks by the Motor City's own Charles Maher, Cliff McKillop and Bill Stinson.

About the artists:
Charles Maher's work is well known in fine automotive art circles and his acrylic pieces have graced the pages of magazines such as: AutoWeek, Automobile, Car Collector, Mustang Monthly, Racer, Road and Track, Automobile Quarterly and Sports Car Market. A member of the Automotive Fine Art Society, his work has been shown at Concourses across the country and he has produced posters for a variety of events across the country, including the Woodward Dream Cruise.

Cliff McKillop characterizes his work as a "commercialized style" of automotive art. Having had an art studio creating commercial illustrations for more than 35 years, his work has been featured in ad campaigns for the Big Three automakers, as well as illustrations for magazine articles. He works mostly in watercolor and says he is motivated by hot rods.

Bill Stinson has been drawing cars and cartoons, his two life long passions, since he was ten years old and has combined the two to produce his own unique style of automotive art. He's written and cartooned for national automotive publications, and his low brow, '50's type, hot rod giclee prints are popular with many Woodward Dream Cruise enthusiasts.
