"The Big Read," an invitational art exhibit curated by the Ferndale Arts and Culture Commission, will be on display through March 30, 2010.

Each participating artist will exhibit works that visually represent pages from favorite novels. The books selected and the pages represented will be on display with the corresponding works, courtesy of the Ferndale Public Library.

"The Big Read" is an initiative of the National Endowment for the Arts. It is part of a nationwide event that gives communities the opportunity to read, discuss and celebrate selections from U.S. and world literature.
