"His and Hers: Moment" ran through March 24, 2007 and featured sculptures by Ryan Buyssens and photographs by Molly Reilly.

Both Ryan Buyssens and Molly Reilly received their MFA degrees in 2004 from Cranbrook Academy of Art and have been teaching at colleges and universities since. Their works have been featured in numerous local and national exhibitions throughout the past ten years.

Ryan Buyssens' sculptures are made with rotating mechanisms. Once in motion, they create effects that let the incorporated images come to life. Buyssens extract the essence of the moving image and examines the mechanics of historical and contemporary modes of presentation. He unites the viewing device and the imagery, so machine manifests itself as an integral part of the whole.

Molly Reilly's work is centered around the process of collecting isolated images. The snapshot-style photography documents the ubiquitous moments of her life. The atmosphere of rooms, domestic objects, patterns within textiles and wallpapers are recorded as symbols of home and familiarity. The collective, fragmentary images intend to trigger a universal memory. This investigation is a constant marking of time.
